Since I was first diagnosed with migraine headaches at the age of 11, I have been under the care of a neurologist for management of my headaches. Throughout my years of treatment, my doctors had tried almost every conventional form of pain management available including medication, biofeedback, physical therapy, massage therapy, and Botox injections with little success. So, it is understandable that I was skeptical of the effectiveness of neuromuscular dentistry as a treatment for headaches. However, after a thorough examination by a neuromuscular dentist, it was determined that the root cause of most of my pain was jaw misalignment and muscle tension and fatigue. I was fit for an appliance, and within a week of receiving it I began to see a reduction in the frequency and severity of my migraine headaches. The muscles in my neck, shoulders, back, and jaw were finally able to relax for the first time since my headaches first began. My tolerance to stressors like physical activity and an increased workload at school increased dramatically. I was finally able to start exercising again, and I enrolled as a fulltime student in college which up to that point had been impossible. I finally felt comfortable planning for the future, something I was afraid to do in the past because my migraines were so frequent and unpredictable. I truly believe that without this treatment, I would not have made it through college.
I eventually transferred over to Westchester Dental Center for continued treatment due to Dr. Noto’s extensive background in neuromuscular dentistry. I am confident in my recommendation of Dr. Noto because, under his care, I have experienced a greater level of pain control and headache management than I have with any other neuromuscular dentist. Dr. Noto has designed a treatment plan that includes chiropractic therapy to better manage my headaches. I continue to see improvements in my muscle strength and a decrease in muscle tension in addition to the reduction in the frequency and severity of my migraine headaches. Dr. Noto’s extensive background in neuromuscular dentistry is the reason I started seeing him, but his honesty and accessibility are why I continue to see him for my ongoing care.
I am always nervous when I go to the dentist. They made me feel at ease and it was overall a great experience.
Gallery Dental is wonderful! Everybody there is friendly as well as professional and the office is clean and comfortable. I really like Dr Noto’s style of proactive treatment and I’m especially happy that he has invested in a CEREC machine. Lauren does an excellent job juggling my family and Stephanie always takes good care of us. I don’t know what we did before we found Gallery Dental.
I have been seeing Dr. Noto and staff for many years even though I live a good distance away from their office. They have always taken excellent care of me as well as providing a comfortable and friendly environment. Before Dr. Noto, my dental experiences were dreaded and painful, now they are pain-free and dare I say enjoyable as I get along with Lauren so well. I see in this list that even my former dental hygienist from when I was a child is a patient.

I use to be scared of dentist ,the moment I came to dr. Noto ,Lauren & other staff members I felt like at home, been only smiles. What can I say when I’m excited to go for check ups & love all that cleaning ,flossing & poking, doesn’t hurt at all. It’s really pain free , atmosphere is amazing, they are super professional & I truly love them like a extending family. I even think ahead ..as could never move to far away, need to be close to my dentist… my Galery Dental. So please try this awesome place, you will love it like I do ♥️

Everybody loves going to the dentist – right?!?!?! WRONG!!
But rest assured, you’re in good hands with Dr. Peter Noto and staff. My fears are eliminated because I have faith and confidence in his knowledge and skills. I have been a patient of Dr. Noto’s for a number of years. I was recently informed I needed oral surgery – words nobody wants to hear. At least I knew all would go smoothly, and it did!
Lauren, the receptionist, is always smiling when you walk into the office. She is very pleasant to work with and is happy to explain and answer any questions.
The hygienist, Jessica, really knows what she’s doing, and takes time to explain how to take good care of your teeth.
I know I will continue to return to Gallery Dental; and have recommended my family and friends who trust their care to Dr. Peter Noto as well. He makes going to the dentist less painful.

I’ve been reluctant to leave my house since March, but a toothache forced me to go to Dr. Noto’s office last week. I was nervous about the visit and not because of the toothache. Lauren explained all of their safety protocols to me and that made me feel less nervous. Once there, I saw that the entire staff is taking extreme caution with health and safety. To name just a few things I saw–full protective gear, staggered appointments so less patients on premises at the same time, protective barriers in waiting room and exam room doorways–you can even have your cell phone disinfected while you’re there! Being surrounded by that level of care made me feel even better. Thank you to Dr. Noto, Lauren and Rachel for taking good care of me and my family all the time!
Dr Noto is knowledgeable, experienced, skillful, thoughtful and very accommodating. He has been our dentist for about 20+ years. Since we have relocated to another state, we now travel 3 hours each way to see him.
I have been a dental patient and a TMJ patient of Dr. Noto for several years. I began seeing him for dental issues, but then a couple of years ago I came to him in a great deal of pain from TMJ issues, including popping and clicking jaw, teeth and gum pain, facial pain, headaches, earaches, etc. It had been going on for months and I didn’t think I would ever be out of pain. Dr. Noto did in-depth testing and then spent a good amount of time explaining to me everything that was wrong and how he intended to treat me. After a short time in treatment I began seeing results and now feel better than I have in a few years. He is extremely knowledgeable; there is no dentist I trust more. Moreover, the staff is friendly and helpful. The office is well-run and there are always little fun perks to coming in to the office, like an occasional cookie!
